“The Gin Singers”

The School House at St Marks was the well-chosen venue for a fabulous gathering of friends, families and the wider community for the Just the tonic aka The Gin Singers Christmas fund raiser for the HBOT IOM (Hyperbaric Chamber) on December 21st.

The effort put in behind the scenes was clear to see by all who attended. With the handmade invitations, carol singing booklets, Christmas hat, crazy glasses, jumpers, costumes, along with the food and refreshments and donated raffle prizes.

Well, it had everything including an improvised snowball fight, twelve days of Christmas pantomime , a sugar plum fairy, a Christmas tree, singing and not forgetting the well-orchestrated bell ringing ensemble .

The Gin Singers sang their hearts out and this in turn encouraged the guests to do the same, creating a fabulous atmosphere and event enjoyed by all. It gave to the community the lift, smiles and laughter it needed to start the Christmas festive season.  

HBOT IOM would like to thank Jo, Cathy, team and all the Just the Tonic singers, helpers and guests who made and attended this event possible. A very memorable night and at the same time raising funds £833.00  toward the “Pressure is on Campaign” to provide a Hyperbaric service in the future.

Look out “Wham” you could be knocked off your number one spot for next Christmas by these fabulous singers if they choose to sign a record deal.
